Target trip

Yay! My own pic. So today I went to Target instead of Walmart. I hadn't been in awhile and was surprised to find this. I know this is old news but I finally found this. Usually where I live stuff comes in a little late. Now I find this. Bunches of them! I didn't pick one up as I didn't have cash on hand and might get an Alphatrooper for Christmas. Regular price of $10 there so nothing special. Sorry the pic is a little blurry. Next time I'll try to do better. I didn't see the berserker with the 6 shot attachment there if you were wondering.

my 3d nerf design (by jds8585)

This is my new Nerf design. It's a "gravity fed" full auto Nerf gun. It has battery space in the stock and sports a top and bottom tactical rail. The drum mag holds 24 darts and can be used with other nerf blasters. The bottom tactical rail can support the stampede's bipod for ground firing and stability. This is just one of my many nerf designs I hope to post here.

No shutting down

Lately I have been getting complaints from an author. He was saying NaS was a sinking ship I do not believe him. And another blogger has been saying this too. I agree there are too many authors.  I hired them all and I was not thinking about the numbers as I was hiring them. No the current authors will NOT be fired but any other want-to-be authors have to contact us. If you are a want-to-be author click on the want to author link in the pages.

UT got the electrostorm

As stated in the title of this article,UT got the electrostorm. From what they've said about it seems good and bad. I probably won't be getting this one. Just looking at that shell I think it would be nice to have a Nerf Reflex or Nitefinder inside of it.

ANOTHER new double your darts!?

Well,I'm taking a few minutes off my break to tell you all something. I went to a Walmart today and now saw a MAVERICK double your darts. A few posts back I told you about the longstrike and deploy and had some pics. I am sorry I do not have my own pics because I left my DSi in the van :( I will find a pic to put for this article on Monday. Now for me,back to my break.

The future of Opinions and Thoughts articles

Good news. Opinions and Thoughts is going from a trilogy of articles to up to 10 hopefully.
Somewhat bad news, Flywheels is the last one to be on Nerf and Stuff. I am able to move to Arctic Nerf(the foam flinging burrito). The articles on here will be over there also in the next weeks but all new ones will be on Arctic Nerf. I am not leaving NaS now though. I still have some things to do on here,but almost all future articles will be on Arctic Nerf. So incase you don't understand,Opinions and Thoughts is going to hopefully be 10 articles and no more will be here.

Opinions and Thoughts: Flywheels: Are they really that bad?

What do all these blasters have in common? You're right. Flywheels. This week's Opinions and Thoughts is on flywheels. Now,all the blasters shown here operate with flywheels and are actually quite decent. Take the Rayven for example. It uses flywheels,but thanks to those,now nerfers have gotten a Nerf blaster with a bullpup loading system. The Ultimate Rapid Blast. Semi-auto assault rifle with 12 shots. The Powerstrike 48 has gotten some fame because of its 40 feet ranges. The Barricade is a 10 shot semi-auto pistol. See now? All these blasters are quite good. Now some will say that they're too loud for nerf wars. I read an article on that. Basically if you gotta a reputation in a nerf war,when they hear those motors, freak out. I mean,flywheels may be a little noisy,but they're still cheap semi-auto blasters. I've even heard they are very simple to mod. How? Voltage mods. You look those up and they're some of the easiest. I mean, some people hate flywheels,but look at those people who are drooling over the Rayven. I mean, bullpup loading system, semi-auto,18 dart glow clip, can take barrel attachments, who wouldn't want one? See,despite a flywheel blaster's noise,they're pretty good. You've read all those reasons above. Why do people still hate them? I don't know. This is Portal signing out.

NF clip fed prototype instructions

You have probably seen the post on my ideas and pics/drawings. Well,I'm not gonna keep putting off this post so here it is:

Step 1: Get Nitefinder and Speedload 6 or Quick 16.
Step 2: Mod your NF if you want to. I highly reccomend doing this.
Step 3: Chop away the front barrel area and take out light assembly. Keep ammo holders if wanted.
Step 4: Take out the Speedload 6 inbuilt clip or Quick 16 inbuilt clip.
Step 5: Get some PVC or whatever you make custom barrels out of and chop away the bottom part of it. That way the dart can be loaded in. Attach it to the internals so the blaster will still fire.
Step 6: Epoxy or attach the clip in. Keep the side loading thing so you can still load in darts that way.
Step 7: Make sure it works.

Disclaimer: I have not done this mod yet. These instructions are how I plan on doing it and am showing other people how so they can perfect it.

Result: A clip fed NF with a clip size of 6 or 16 shots.

BuzzBee Ultimate Rapid Blast review 4

A couple weeks ago I reviewed the Nerf Barricade and said I would also review the Ultimate Rapid Blast for comparison. Well,here it is.The BuzzBee Ultimate Rapid Blast is a flywheel,12 dart shooting blaster. It is part of BuzzBee's Ultimate system and can connect to other blasters in the line. It has a 12 dart barrel and is semi-automatic. It uses 3 AA batteries. It comes with 12 darts and the blaster and has ranges of 20-30 feet. I shortened some tagger darts for it. They flew about 20 feet but some flew out of control. This blaster will not jam on you if you know how to use it properly. To fire a shot you must pull the trigger ALL the way back or it will jam. I will say this is a very nice blaster and is cheap. $10 for a flywheel semi-automatic assault rifle. Not bad if you know how to use it. It is somewhat noisy though. A little louder than a Barricade. Honestly your preference is what decides which blaster you get. The Ultimate Rapid Blast is a 12 shot semi-auto assault rifle. The Barricade is a 10 shot semi-auto pistol that costs more than a Rapid Blast but is quieter. I give this blaster a 4 out of 5. It may be a flywheel blaster but it's fairly nice. Mod ideas/pics

My instructions/idea of how a clip fed Nitefinder will work. I'll post them on another post but I do not know if it will work. This is my idea of how it can. If you plan to use this idea,I haven't done it yet,so just give credit until I've made it and official/working instructions are up.
This is a drawing of a homemade I have been wanting to do. It's supposed to be a clip fed crossbow because,well,crossbows are cool, make them clip fed,and they're even better! Making it prime like a crossbow is looking to be just extra work so it's looking to be pump action. The stock holds one(1) 6 dart clip and on the sides of the stock ammo holders like from the barrel break. From the power the internals should have stefans will need to be used.

but smaller so it can be in the front.

Ut has the Lightning Storm! I'm not gonna repost the article here so go check it out! I must say that I might only get it for the attachments and to review it here. Wonder how the stock and shield would look on a Whiteout Spectre. Hmmmmmm

1500 views! and Air Tech 300 (AT3K) review 3

Well as the title says,Nerf and Stuff,(NaS) has gotten over 1500 views and as I promised here is the Air Tech 3000 review. I'm sorry it wasn't on Friday but I got busy. So with out further adeiou,the review.

The Nerf Air Tech 3000 is a discontinued Nerf blaster from the Air Tech line. It has a 6 shot barrel and subsequently 6 shots. Up above is the blue version. There is also a gray version. The handle on the top has a tube with something in it. The whatever it is,liqued or gel, shows you how much air pressure is in the tank. The higher the whatever it is goes,the better the range will be. I think you're supposed to do 3 pumps,but I do 5-10. That way the whatever it is goes up all the way. It is an air pressure blaster if you didn't realise from what I was telling you. When I pump it up it usually goes from a few-20 feet. I will not be modding this one because I have no idea how and am modding a Jolt right now. I reccomend you get this blaster. I like to use it because I'll pump it a bunch of times and fir. Now I understand why people like the Alphatrooper so much. I give this one a 3 out of 5. A 3 out of 5 because it's an air pressure blaster but I enjoy using it. This is Portal signing out.
